Creative Anarchy 2017 Recap

I spoke to the creative community of Iloilo, the Philippines at Creative Anarchy 2017. This was the first design, motion, and tech conference held in the area, and I'm so honored to have been a part of it. I got to share the stage 5 other amazing speakers. Each of us got to share our stories of our own creative journeys. I had a blast connecting with the young talent there. I hope to be back in the Philippines again, real soon. Watch the event recap video here.

Yes. They made me dance on stage.

TEDxCSULB | Start Before You're Ready

How do you spend less time debating, have more time for creating, and grow exponentially in your career? Creative Director, Matthew Encina, shares his story of how a challenge he felt he wasn't ready for, had turned into one of the most successful projects of his career: the groundbreaking interactive music video "Ink" for Coldplay.

Start before you're ready. Amazing things can happen.

In April 2016, I delivered my TEDx talk on my experiences as a creative, and committing to do something well before I was ready. I hope my story can inspire those of you who are hesitant, to push through the threshold of fear and doubt, and take your shot.

Graphika Manila 2016 Recap

Graphika Manila is the premier creativity conference in the Philippines, hailed as one of the most influential events on design this side of the world. Since 2006, Graphika Manila has emerged as the must-see event among design professionals and students and has attracted over 20,000 attendees throughout its decade-long existence. Every year is a distinctively inspiring conference, showcasing multidisciplinary creative approaches in identity, art direction, animation, web and even designed environments, as shared by thinkers, collaborators and partners over a two day, jam-packed weekend. The conference focuses on the creative side of design rather than technology. graphikamanila.com/ Graphika Manila 2016 speakers: Valerie Chua (Manila, Philippines) Velvet Spectrum (New York, USA) Si Scott (Manchester, United Kingdom) Imaginary Forces (Los Angeles, California, USA) Vault49 (New York, USA) Timothy Goodman (New York, USA) Patrick Cabral (Manila, Philippines) Blind (Los Angeles, California, USA) Gemma O'Brien (Sydney, Australia) Pixar Animation (San Francisco, California, USA) Tokidoki (Los Angeles, California, USA) Harvey Tolibao (Manila, Philippines) Video produced by:
